Niccolò Paganini (1782-1840) was an Italian violinist and composer who is considered one of the greatest violin virtuosos of all time. His contributions to the violin repertoire are legendary, and the "24 Caprices" and "La Campanella" are among his most celebrated works. He was known for his incredible speed, agility, and the use of left-hand pizzicato, double stops, harmonics, and extraordinary bowing techniques. In addition to the "24 Caprices," Paganini composed numerous other works for the violin, including concertos, sonatas, and chamber music.
