Carl Heinrich Carsten Reinecke (1824–1910) was a German composer, conductor, and pianist of the Romantic era. He had a long and prolific career, contributing to various genres of music. He was an influential educator, teaching many notable composers, including Edvard Grieg. Reinecke composed several symphonies, demonstrating his mastery of orchestration and melodic writing.
