Joaquin Turina (1882–1949) was a Spanish composer of classical music known for his contributions to the nationalistic Spanish musical style. Danzas fantasticas, Op. 22 is one of his most famous works. The three movements are titled "Exaltación," "Ensueño," and "Orgía." One of Turina's most frequently performed compositions is "La Oracion del Torero, Op. 34" also known as "The Bullfighter's Prayer," is a chamber work for string quartet or string orchestra. Piano Quartet in A minor, Op. 67, Circulo, Op. 91, Ritmos, Op. 43 are among his other popular works.
